Scott High School was founded in 1913 and is proudly located in Toledo’s Old West End neighborhood. It’s named after Jesup Wakeman Scott, a former editor of the Toledo Blade from 1844-1847, who envisioned Toledo as the “Future Great City of the World”.
Scott High School offers a comprehensive academic curriculum as well as Career Technical Education in Cosmetology/Barber, Medical Technology and Advanced Manufacturing and Machining. Students can pursue interests in the performing arts, fine arts, athletics and various club activities.
Scott High School is a Hub School that offers many programs and resources to ensure students' success. Scott High School has partnered with Health Partners of Western Ohio, the City of Toledo, and New Concepts to ensure the mental and physical well-being of our students.
